Carl Westmoreland

Carl is in great demand, and his roles have included a reprisal of Basil Fawlty for Hertford Dramatic & Operatic Society [2009 & 2011], and recently, as an adulterous psychiatrist in "What the Butler Saw" at The Barn Theatre, Welwyn Garden City.  He first joined Sadleir Drama Club for "What Do We Do About Henry?" [1999] and has been involved ever since on stage and occasionally directing a couple of one act plays (“Day Trippers” [2005] and “Last Tango in Little Grimley” [2008]).  He will never be forgotten as 'Baby Calvin' in "Babysitting Calvin" [2011].

Jenny Giles

LizPickup

Liz has been a member of the club since 1997, first behind the scenes doing
the sound effects and a couple of minor parts before making her debut in a
large role in "Table Manners" [2002].  Liz has since been involved in a number
of productions, Forget-Me-Knot [2003] and several one-act plays, the latest
being in Spring 2009. Her appearances have been intertwined with having
three children, but she returns to us as lithe and skinny and young as ever, none more so than in the recent "Rumours" [2011].  As a younger actress, she is much in demand, and has also acted several times with Much Hadham Drama Group.

 Amanda Woodrooffe

Amanda joined SDC in 1997.  Since then, she has performed in many of our productions, worked backstage and even directed.
Her "Top 4" most enjoyable acting roles have een Mary in "Memory of Water", Connie in "Habeus Corpus", the elephant obsessed vicar in our production of "And A Little Love Besides" and Thelma in "Doggies". Playing Anne in "The Reading Group" will be Amanda's first time on stage for over 4 years.
